After being forced to workout at home, I have come to realize the benefits of incorporating resistance bands in my training routines. Here they are:
1. They help activate and strengthen your stabilizer muscles.
Stabilizer muscles help prevent injury during training, provide postural support, and allow you to lift heavier.
2. They help you feel what muscles are activated and what aren't.
Resistance bands allow you to have full control of your movements, from positioning to angle. This helps you feel what muscles are activated so that you can boost that mind-muscle connection, which will improve the overall quality of your workout.
3. They are ideal for people recovering from injury.
Resistance bands are ideal to use in rehabilitation after an injury as they help focus and work on specific muscles without excessive stress on the joints.
4. They are lightweight.
You can take resistance bands anywhere as they are lightweight and do not take a lot of space. They are perfect if you travel around a lot and want to get a workout in.
